Engineer and Petroleum Minister Tarek El Molla, the Petroleum Sector celebrates the International Safety and Health at Work Day for the first time asserting the importance of safety and health at work in the sector and emphasizing on the necessity of the protection of the lives and the properties of the sector and making the safety and health of the employees at the top of the work priority.
The platform aims to realize the communication between all of the sector members when it comes to the safety, health, environment protection, and the safety of operations, it also aims at the exchanges of expertizes, experiences and the sharing of different knowledge resources.
The celebration has had a packed attendance of the leadership of the petroleum sector, as Engineer Abed Ezz El Rejal head of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation, El Sayed Mohamed Abdel Ghaffar Undersecretary of Administration Department of the Ministry, Geologist Fekry Youssef Undersecretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Major-General Magdy Abbas Security Director of the Ministry, and the Geologist Ashraf Farag Undersecretary of the Exploration and Treaties of the Ministry.
Western Desert Operating Petroleum Company “WEPCO”, has participated in the celebration of the before mentioned day with a delegation attended by Engineer Ibrahim Massoud Chairman and Directing Manager, joint by the Chemist Mohamed Hassan General Manager of Safety and Health at the company and Engineer Sayed Sobhi General Manager of the Western Desert.
As well as the heads of the holding companies, the heads of the petroleum companies, heads of gas companies and marketing of petroleum products, heads of the investment companies and the heads of production companies.
