The Western Desert Operating Petroleum Company (WEPCO) is committed to implementing the strategy for social responsibility set by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources through the following initiatives:

Supporting the contributions of the Egyptian petroleum sector in achieving sustainable development objectives

Supporting the contributions of the Egyptian petroleum sector in the implementation of the Annual Sustainable Development Plan, in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030 across its economic, environmental, and social dimensions. This is carried out within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt’s national vision, through the involvement of other government-affiliated companies in executing community projects and initiatives across all governorates and concession areas of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
