WEPCO has successfully renewed its various management system certifications. - National Accreditation:
The company obtained accreditation from the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC) after the evaluation of El-Hamra Terminal. - International Standard Compliance:
The accreditation was granted in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017, the international standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, jointly issued by ISO and IEC. - Sector Leadership:
WEPCO is one of the first companies in the petroleum sector to have its laboratory accredited under the most recent version of this international standard. - Credibility in Standardization:

In addition, EL Hamra Terminal has obtained certification for its Occupational Safety and Health Management System under ISO/45001:2018, the latest standard for occupational safety and health management systems. This certification is a crucial requirement for Occupational Health and Safety (OHSE) systems, as it enables organizations to establish and maintain healthy and safe workplaces. The system focuses on the prevention of workplace injuries, the mitigation of occupational diseases, and the creation of a safe and healthy work environment for employees, in accordance with internationally recognized standards.
